Kondensatorerne består af en keramisk skive begge sider er
forsølvede. Forbindelseskabler er lavet af fortinnet kobber.
 
Kondensatorerne kan leveres med kinkede eller lige ledninger
med en blyafstand på 5 mm (0.20 "), 7.5 mm (0.30") eller 10 mm (0.40 ")
og en ledningslængde fra 4 mm til 30 mm. Standardtolerancen på
kapacitans er 5% eller 10% for klasse 1 kondensatorer og ±
10% eller ± 20% for klasse 2 kondensatorer. Indkapsling foretages
af blåfarvede epoxy-harpiks.
