Kiletakisti tehniline taust.
Mis on paksu kiletakisti ja õhukese takisti vahel.
Õhukesed ja paksud kiletakistid on turul kõige levinumad tüübid. Neid iseloomustab keraamilisel aluspinnal olev resistentsuskiht. Kuigi need võivad tunduda väga sarnased, on nende omadused ja tootmisprotsessid üsna erinevad. Nimi tuleneb erinevatest kihipaksustest. Kile paksus on umbes 0.1 mikronit või vähem, samas kui paks kile on umbes tuhandeid kordi paks. Peamine erinevus on aga takistusfilmi kandmine aluspinnale. Kiletakistil on metallkile, mis on vaakumis sadestatud isoleerivale alusele. Paks kiletakisti valmistatakse aluspinnale spetsiaalse pasta küpsetamisega. Pasta on klaasi ja metalloksiidide segu. Kile on täpsem, temperatuurikoefitsient on parem ja stabiilsem, nii et see suudab konkureerida teiste ülitäpsete tehnoloogiatega, näiteks traadimähisega või metallfooliumiga. Teisest küljest eelistatakse paksusid kilesid rakenduste jaoks, mida pole rangelt vaja, sest hind on palju madalam.
