Tehnično ozadje filmskega upora.
Kakšna je razlika med uporom debelega filma in uporom tankega filma.
Tankoplastni in debeloplastni upori so najpogostejši na trgu. Zanje je značilna odporna plast na keramični podlagi. Čeprav so si na videz zelo podobni, se njihove lastnosti in proizvodni postopki precej razlikujejo. Ime izhaja iz različnih debelin sloja. Debelina filma je približno 0.1 mikrona ali manj, medtem ko je debel film približno tisočkrat debel. Glavna razlika pa je način nanašanja odpornega filma na podlago. Filmski upor ima kovinsko folijo, ki je vakuumsko naložena na izolacijsko podlago. Debeloplastni upor je narejen s pečenjem posebne paste na substratu. Pasta je mešanica steklenih in kovinskih oksidov. Film je natančnejši, temperaturni koeficient je boljši in stabilnejši, zato se lahko kosa z drugimi visoko natančnimi tehnologijami, na primer z navijanjem žice ali kovinsko folijo. Po drugi strani pa so debele folije najprimernejše za aplikacije, ki niso strogo potrebne, ker je cena veliko nižja.
